John produces highly detailed realistic wood carvings of songbirds and water fowl along with a more rustic style woodcarving of Santa's and Snowmen. He also produces hand cast and painted versions of his Santa?s and Snowmen. John has also started working in soapstone where he produces more stylized carvings of wildlife. John?s interest in songbirds and water fowl are also represented in his photographic art which provides his inspiration for many of his carvings. John?s carvings have won many awards both locally and internationally.
