Description: A plaque commemorates Reverend Donald McKenzie (1798-18840). Located on St.Andrews St, East of Oxfod Road 6 (Huron St.). Born in Scotland, he was the first missionary sent to Zorra in 1834 and the first minister to the Zorra Congregation in June 1835. A teacher, in 1844 he became the Township's first Superintendent of Education. He influenced Rev.MacKay to become a minister.
