Description: Wildwood Pit is an old gravel pit that has been left to return to Nature on its own. It has a variety of unique plants that add to the delight of the area and attract a variety of birds. There are information signs that describe some of the special features of the area. The trail is at the eastern end of the Wildwood Conservation Area Trail. The hills can present a bit of a challenge for some people
